Okay, so the weather has changed a bit and that cool breeze is starting to pick up. You ask, ‘But what does that mean?” Well, it means that the season to fall in love with jackets or coats is finally here (pun, intended).
Although our trip to México (seen here and here) was a little over a month ago, I am still getting settled and finding more photos that I have not posted, and even some I completely forgot were taken. One of the photos being our last day in México. It was very humid on our last day so much so that after taking these photos, we practically scurried up the escalator to catch a little more breeze from the ceiling fans in the hotel. (Well, at least I scurried up the escalator in my mind)
I hope you all had a wonderful fourth of July weekend. As for me, I decided to stay in and relax…after all, how often are you able to have a long weekend to yourself? (Not often, for me, so I like to take advantage of it and unwind.) In fact, I have not pampered myself in a long time, so, as of late, I have been inspired to get up, get out and get pampered. And, by pampered, I mean getting my nails and feet done or even going to a spa for a massage, which is next on my to-do list.
Since I was due for a pampering this past Friday, I decided to treat my mom, who deserves it as well. It was an easy-going day so I wanted to look cute and feel comfortable so I went for a easy going, easy flowing, flower print dress that was gifted to me. I paired it with some inexpensive orange flip flops (which makes it easier to travel especially , if you are on-the-go and need to step out after a pedicure), a fedora and a cardigan. Yes, I wore a cardigan! You know sometimes we go out sleeveless, backless, or strapless and forget that sometimes the air-conditioning at the place you go is up bit too high. So just to be on the safe side, I wore my cardigan, but in my defense, it was a little drafty in some areas and I was prepared. 😉
